Choosing a print for your home or office is no easy task, so to make your choice easier we have a large collection of prints on this site to suit all tastes, if you want cute we have cute, if you want art then we most certainly have art!
Navigation
To view the prints you have a few options. First you can choose the navigation bars to the left of the page and then click on individual images to get the details and a larger image to view. Or if you just want to browse then use the View as Gallery option which will display a slideshow of larger images; when you see something you like simply click on the image and the product page will appear. Easy!
Editions
We have several kinds of print editions on this website., open, limited, exhibition and charity. Open editions are general prints that are not numbered and that will be available for a long time. Limited editions are limited to either 250 or 500 prints and are supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity. Exhibition images, such as those from Vanishing Worlds and the Edge of the Circle, show both open and limited editions from these exhibitions. Finally charity editions are limited editions where a portion of the profits (and sometimes 100%) are donated to a named conservation charity. Please note that some prints will appear in several categories, this is just to make your searching easier.
Print Finishes
Our prints are produced by the same family run company that we have used for the past ten years. They have printed all of our exhibitions and are simply the best. The materials all use the best quality inks for consistent colour reproduction and long life.
All our prints are available on fine art Giclee PhotoRag paper or Canvas. Giclee prints are slightly matt and have a beautiful texture which makes them perfect for framing. Canvas prints are becoming more popular as they add a real comtemporary and atmospheric feel to the image.; they can also be hung in dark areas without much light. Canvas prints are supplied stretched on a wooden frame with a modern block finish that makes them stand out in their own right. Please note however that no canvas print can be signed owing to the difficulty of printing on this medium, instead you will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Sizes
To make it easier our default sizes are A3 and A2. So for an A3 Giclee Photorag print the image size is approximately 420mm on the longest side and 297mm on the shortest. There is a generous white border all around and text underneath. The text will vary according to the type of print but will include some of the following - the image name, the collection to which it belongs, an edition number, a digital signature and any awards that it has won. An A3 Canvas will be approximately 420mm on the longest side and 280mm on the shortest if not cropped, an A2 Canvas will be 600mm on the longest side by 400mm on the shortest side. For larger prints, which are only available in Giclee PhotoRag, these are the sizes:
A1 – image fits within 841x594mm printed within 1120x840mm
A0 – image fits within 1189x841mm printed within 1680x1120mm
Occasionally we crop an image and the true size for this image will be shown on its product page. If you have any special requests, i.e. would like bigger versions of a certain image then please click here to email us for a personal quote.
Framing Service
Due to the specialist and person nature of framing we do not offer it on this store but our printers do! Andrew has been producing our frames for years and many of our clients have had their pictures framed by him. He offers a friendly and professional service, the like of which you will not receive from any high street framer; it is also better to get your images framed straight after they have been printed to avoid any damage. So if you would like your print framed then place your print order and afterwards click here to send Andrew an email, don't forget to include your transaction number. He will then contact you to discuss your requirements.
UK Delivery & Prices
Giclee prints will be supplied rolled in a tube whilst canvas prints will be boxed. You will have several delivery options at checkout. All prices are subject to VAT at 17.5% Please read our shipping terms and conditions at the bottom of the page before proceeding with your order.
INTERNATIONAL Delivery & Prices
Please note that for all international orders you will need to email us for a quote as this website will not process non UK print orders. It can handle books and loves them, but shipping prints internationally is just a little beyond its IQ at the moment! Please click here to email us with the prints that you want and your address, we can then give you a quote and process your credit card manually.
